June is National Aboriginal History Month and marks the fourth anniversary of Indigenous Book Club Month. This June, the Quiet Book Club invites you to experience a different book club format—the book talk! A book talk is a brief presentation about a book with the purpose of convincing others to read it. Read more via the Library Blog.

Book Talk

On June 5th, the Quiet Book Club highlighted five Indigenous titles. There was no need to pre-read as you could just listen to our panel talk up their selections. Then, we hope you browsed our book display to discover more great Indigenous authors. As always, feel free to share with us any selections by Indigenous authors that you have enjoyed in the past.

This was an opportunity to explore new titles to add to your summer reading list! #IndigenousReads

Keep an eye out for the next Book Talk!
